1. DATA CONTROLLER IDENTIFICATION

This Privacy Policy explains how personal data is collected, used, and processed through this website callfriend.net

This document is prepared in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the Bulgarian Personal Data Protection Act.

2. CATEGORIES OF PERSONAL DATA COLLECTED

We collect and process only the minimal personal data necessary to provide our services:

  • Identification & Contact Data: Full name, email address, and request for a service
  • Conversation & Interaction Data: Personal information voluntarily shared during sessions, solely used to understand your needs and tailor future sessions.
  • Audio / Video / Photo Data: Live video stream, voice, or image transmitted during online calls.

Age Restriction: Our Services are intended solely for individuals aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If we become aware that data has been provided by a person under 18, we will delete it without undue delay and terminate any related session.

3. PURPOSES AND LEGAL BASES FOR PROCESSING

  • Pre-contractual & Contractual Performance (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR): To process your inquiries, arrange scheduling, send session terms via email, and conduct online sessions, conduct payment.
  • Legitimate Interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR): Storing session summaries/context written summary to provide continuity, context, and personalized guidance for subsequent meetings.
  • Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) and Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR): Processing live video/audio during calls, and processing of any special category data (e.g. data concerning health, sex life, or religious or philosophical beliefs) that you voluntarily disclose during conversations, is based on your explicit consent. We do not ask you to share such information, and we encourage you to share only what you feel comfortable with. You may withdraw this consent at any time, with effect for the future. If you wish to limit the processing of such data (image/video/voice), chat-only sessions are also available, allowing greater anonymity.

4. DATA RETENTION PERIODS

  • Live Video, Photos, and Voice Streams: Processed only in real-time during the active session. We do NOT record, save, or store video, audio recordings, or photo files after the call ends.
  • Personal Notes & Conversation Context: Retained for up to 6 months following our last session to allow seamless support if you choose to book again. After 6 months of inactivity, all session context notes are permanently deleted.
  • Email Communications & Inquiry Records: Retained for as long as necessary to manage the user relationship or comply with legal obligations (up to 6 months after last communication). Email communication related to payments is stored for 10 years after the end of the fiscal year to which the payment relates, in compliance with Bulgarian tax and accounting legislation.

5. DATA RECIPIENTS AND THIRD PARTIES

We do not sell, rent, or disclose your personal data to third parties for marketing purposes. Data may only be processed via essential service providers acting as Data Processors:

  • Online video conferencing platforms (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet).
  • Email service providers used to process your booking inquiries.

All data is processed within the European Economic Area (EEA) or via platforms complying with EU data transfer frameworks. Where a service provider (e.g. Zoom, Google Meet) processes data outside the EEA, such transfers are based on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and/or the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, as applicable to that provider.

6. YOUR RIGHTS UNDER THE GDPR

Under Bulgarian and EU data protection laws, you have the right to:

  • Access and information: Request copies of your personal data
  • Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Erasure (“Right to be forgotten”): Request deletion of your personal data at any time
  • Restriction and/or Objection: Object to or restrict processing based on legitimate interest
  • Not to be subject to automated decision making or profiling
  • Data portability from this controller to another
  • Withdraw Consent: Withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior lawful processing (if consent is applicable)
